Module 4: Building Envelope Options for the BC Energy Step Code

This training has been developed to satisfy the BC Energy Step Code condition for licensed general contractors. This video introduces builders to the different options they have to achieve higher performance levels when it comes to the building assemblies and their interfaces.

• Compare and contrast the design and construction aspects of assemblies used with the BC Energy Step Code.

• Plan the construction of assemblies, including aligning trades, managing supply chains, properly sequencing, and ensuring correct installation.
